The NLEX Road Warriors claimed sweet victory against the Talk N’ Text KaTropa, 110-98, finally ending their losing streak during Saturday night’s out-of-town game at the AUF Sports Arena and Cultural Center in Angeles, City.
It was a close game all throughout, with the first quarter ending at 24-26. Carlo Lastimosa, Sean Anthony, and Bradwyn Guinto hit crucial baskets for the Road Warriors, who kept the scores tight in the second and third quarters.
The Warriors unleashed a 17-4 kick in the fourth quarter. The game’s best player, Lastimosa, hit 22 points; Anthony, 13; Guinto, 11.
For the TNT KaTropa, Jayson Castro exploded with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists.
