No hot air balloon fest in Clark for 2020

The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) said it has not approved the conduct of hot air balloon event inside the Clark Freeport Zone for the year 2020.

In a statement, CDC Communications Division Manager Noel G. Tulabut said the state-run CDC did not approve the holding of the annual hot air balloon festival which is usually scheduled every February of the year.

The statement furthered: “This clarification is being issued in view of a social media post titled ‘Clark Hot Air Balloon: Music, Art and Food Festival’ said to be scheduled on February 14, 15 and 16, 2020.  The purported event announces the participation of several notable music artists and groups and disc jockeys.

“The CDC cautioned the public against any representation that solicits support for business and other purposes regarding the hot air balloon fest.
