An act of volunteerism within SM Supermalls employees in Pampanga were rewarded with a genuine smile through a special Christmas gathering: KriSMiles.
“More than just being shopping malls, SM boosts its advocacy to care for its customers, including the children, especially on the most wonderful time of the year,” said Assistant Mall Manager Kay Chua.
This holiday season, employees of SM City Pampanga, SM City San Fernando Downtown, SM City Telabastagan and SM Savemore Market Apalit shared their time to spend a fun-filled day with chosen beneficiaries in nearby areas.

A morning filled with joy and happiness is felt in each mall. In SM City Telabastagan with chosen beneficiary of 50 kids from Pulung Bulu Integrated School spearheaded by Assistant Mal Manager Bernadette Antonio. While in SM City San Fernando Downtown, merged with SM Savemore Market Apalit, also with 50 beneficiaries from Barangay Sto. Niño Day Care Center and Early Childhood Care Development Center headed by Lei Lopez and Audrey Cayanan.
In SM City Pampanga, exciting-pack activities at the coolest destination Sky Ranch Pampanga were lined-up for over 50 Day Care children from Barangay San Jose Matulid in the Municipality of Mexico. Involvement of the employees as the kids excitedly ride the Wonder Flight, Jumping Kangaroo, Double-decker Grand Carousel, Safari Train, Dragon Parade and The Big Wheel of Pampanga.
A genuine smile from over 150 beneficiaries is apparent as each child enjoyed a simple program of games and prizes lined up which the kids and the employees adored. The kids each received gifts and Bears of Joy from the employees plus sumptuous food and surprise appearances from Jollibee mascot.
In this season of giving, the best gift that the SM volunteers received is the sincere happiness from the children.
