The Philippine Embassy in Oman donated a set of CCP Encyclopaedia of Philippine Art to the Sultan Qaboos University Main Library in Muscat.
Second Secretary and Consul Bernadette A. Mendoza turned over the books to Sayyida Dr. Mona Bint Fahad Al Said, Assistant Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation.
Earlier this year, the Philippine Embassy and Oman have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The ten-volume set, published by the Cultural Center of the Philippines, is considered to be the definitive reference material on Philippine art and culture.
