P100K bounty raised for arrest of gunman in Lubao shooting

LUBAO, Pampanga–The local government unit here has dangled a P100,000 reward for the speedy arrest of the suspect in a recent shooting incident in Barangay Remedios here.

Supt. Monico Cadayona, Lubao chief of police, said the LGU has raised the bounty after suspect Noel Diwa failed to turn himself in to authority despite initial feelers of his surrender.

Diwa is being accused of shooting to death John Rendel Carlos and seriously wounding John Vince Dabu during an altercation on the evening of September 18..

Cadayona said Diwa has expressed his intention to surrender within 72 hours after the shooting incident but failed to show up.

Manhunt operation against Diwa, Cadayona said, did not stop even with the suspect’s feelers and the police is leaving no stones unturned to locate his whereabouts.
