The cops involved in illegal drug operations are aptly called “ninja.”
During the commemoration of the National Heroes Day at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Monday morning, President Rodrigo Duterte indicated, “Today, I might be inclined to place a reward on their head, the members of the ninja, or members of the police who are then protecting the drug syndicates in this country. I am placing per head two million and by there you might want to, ipagbili ninyo na mga kaibigan ninyo.”
Duterte said the anti-illegal drugs campaign is a war and not just a simple issue.
