Pag-IBIG Fund loyalty cardholders to get discounts at Tarlac-based hospital

Pag-IBIG Fund members with Loyalty Card Plus are now entitled to discounts and benefits at Central Luzon Doctors’ Hospital (CLDH).

It was sealed through a Memorandum of Agreement between the two parties to provide affordable healthcare and additional benefits to its members.

Pag-IBIG Fund Central Luzon Area Head Agnes Neri shared that Loyalty Card Plus can be used in more than 300 establishments such as hospitals, educational institutions, restaurants, pharmacies, and gasoline stations to avail of discounts by presenting the card.

“Loyalty Card Plus also serves as an ATM where proceeds of your loans and dividends on investments, and savings will be deposited into like that of a savings account,” she said.

It can be availed in all Pag-IBIG branches nationwide for a one-time payment of P125 for members while non-members must register as members so that they can avail the benefit.

“We are grateful that CLDH is really supportive of this program because both the hospital and the Pag-IBIG Fund have something in common, which is service,” Neri added.

For his part, CLDH President and Chief Executive Officer Ferdinand Francis Maria Cid recognized the positive impact of the partnership to Pag-IBIG members and the population of Tarlac at large.

“We thank Pag-IBIG for coming up with a partnership with Central Luzon Doctors’ Hospital and we assure you of our commitment to help and provide additional service to the public,” Cid stated.

Among the discounted services are laboratory tests, ultrasound, cardiac center, x-ray, and diagnostic services for outpatients with a discount rate of 10 percent; hospital bill excluding doctor’s fee, net of PhilHealth, and HMO for inpatients, as well as executive packages with a discount rate of five percent.

Moreover, admitted cardholders who are short of funds for their hospital bills may directly borrow from Pag-IBIG through CLDH to settle up their balances.

CLDH is the first hospital in the province of Tarlac to collaborate with Pag-IBIG Fund in providing benefits and discounts on its health services. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3)
