PAL focuses on Clark airport

This is good news for Clark International Airport! Philippine Airlines (PAL) will be launching more domestic routes this October 28, 2018 that will further connect Central Luzon to the rest of the country.

PAL Express President Bonifacio Sam announced the flag carrier will start flights to San Jose, Mindoro; San Vicente (El Nido) and Cuayan (Isabela) via Clark International Airport this month in Pampanga.

Sam said that “they observed a big change in Clark, in terms of business is booming as well as the high technology and the economy is growing since operating in December 2016.”

PAL really made a big difference for Clark airport and we are indeed thankful with their support to the development of Clark airport.

“PAL made a big difference for Clark airport, and Clark is the most growing hub airport in this region,” Sam added.

The four star flag-carrier will be using PAL’s brand new 86-seater Bombardier Next Generation Q400 turboprop aircraft which is fitted with six Economy Plus premium seats and 80 roomy Economy Class regular seats.

The PAL’s San Vicente flight will be 5 times weekly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will increase by December 18, 2018.

Travellers and tourists coming from Central Luzon will have the chance to enjoy the beauty of San Vicente which is the gateway to El Nido in North Palawan. San Vicente’s 14 kilometer, white sand Long Beach is a fast emerging tourist attraction.

The San Jose route in Occidental Mindoro will have four weekly flights every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Vacation spots in San Vicente include Aroma Beach, Ambulong and White Island, ancient burial caves and shell divers at Ilin Island and Mt. Iglit National Park.

By October 30, 2018, PAL will commence flights to Cauayan in Isabela with thrice weekly flights every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Sam also thanked the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) for their support to PAL and vowed the carrier will introduced more routes early 2019 as they are eyeing Clark as their second hub after Metro Manila.

“We expect more destinations by early 2019 as we are looking forward the completion of the New Passenger Terminal by 2020 and we are expecting a growth of 75 percent in terms of seats in the coming years,” Sam stressed.
