PDEA Tarlac nabs 3 soldiers in drug sting

BAMBAN, TARLAC – Three  members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Sunday have yielded P340,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Anupul this town.

The PDEA Tarlac identified the soldiers as Cpl Venancio Delmoral, alias Juan, , 44; Cpl Juan Carlo Feliciano, 30; and Sgt Modesto Rosquero, 29.

The PDEA said the three soldiers are considered high-value targets since they are in active status .

PDEA agents recovered one knot-tied transparent plastic sachet containing more or less 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000, one AFP-issued gun loaded with magazine with four live bullets, a  Sedan Suzuki Dzire, and the marked money.

The operation was conducted by joint operatives of the PDEA Tarlac and the local police.

All the suspects will be charged with violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to Section 26 B (conspiracy to sell) under Republic Act 9165.
