MAGALANG, Pampanga – Magalang Mayor Romulo Pecson has called on Magalang residents to get their COVID-19 booster shots amid the rising cases linked to the Omicron variant.
Malou Lacson of the Delta communications group continue their operation to prevent the spread of COVID-19 amid the danger of Omicron variant.
Fully vaccinated individuals who received their 2nd dose six months ago or more are allowed to receive booster shots.
A booster or the third vaccine jab provides up to 90 percent of protection against the highly transmissible Omicron variant, according to Vaccine Expert Panel Chairperson Dr. Nina Gloriani.
The Department of Health (DOH) recommends that all qualified members of the community shall receive a booster shot.
Protecting families, schools, workplace, and ourselves has become even more important with the entry of the Omicron variant. The number of community cases in the county is currently increasing and individuals shall continue to take extra measure and must be vaccinated and have their booster shot as soon as possible.
To get your booster shot, you may present the following:
1.Photocopy/Xerox of your Vaccination Card.
2.Photocopy/Xerox of 1 (one) valid ID.
3.Printed Booster Form and already fill-out.
3.Bring your own BALLPEN.
