Police conduct relief operation for stranded students, IPs in Abucay

BALANGA CITY — Bataan Police Provincial Office (PPO) conducted Thursday relief operation for stranded students and indigenous peoples (IPs) in Abucay.

About 15 students of Bataan Peninsula State University-Abucay campus, who are staying at the dormitory of the school since the start of the Enhanced Community Quarantine, received food packs.

Aside from this, Police Provincial Director PCol. Jesus Rebua and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Precious Manuel discussed to the students the government’s anti-illegal drug and terrorism campaigns.

“We also distributed reading materials about Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terrorismo which aims to combat and shield the youth from illegal drugs and terrorism,” Rebua said.

Moreover, Bataan PPO provided relief assistance to a total of 25 IP households in barangay Bangkal.

Beneficiaries received rice, canned goods, bottled water and cup noodles.
