I am recreating to what is happening in Ilocos Sur because I’m truly bothered. The NPA is always coming over to our place and we are disturbed. These NPAs are already causing trauma to our lives.
From the news article I have read in Manila Bulletin (3 Suspected NPA Rebels Killed in Ilocos Sur Encounter), it’s good that members of the AFP and PNP have conducted pursuit operation to go after these terrorists. But on the other hand, it’s sad to hear the bad news that the terrorists were killed during the operation. I want the NPAs to be out of our place but I don’t want anybody to be killed because they are also our “kababayan”. I just want them to be captured or instead, surrender themselves so that the government will give them another chance in their lives.
I wish the AFP and PNP will not stop conducting similar operation in the province of Ilocos Sur. Residents of our locality have condemned their wrong doings and is not afraid anymore of them. Why don’t they just live a normal life? They refuse to work legally, instead, they engage themselves with terroristic acts such as forced taxations/ extortions, coercions, ambush and summary executions. Are they not bothered by their conscience?
