Rainy Sunday breakfast at Puzzle’s Café

We wake up on a Sunday morning and realized we have errands to run. Skies are all grey and the rains just won’t stop. Unfortunately, these hindrances were not enough for us to be kept away from the tasks at hand. So, with extra precaution, we drive out and brave the rains.

After ticking off what’s on the task list, we felt we should reward ourselves with a hearty breakfast that begins with a great cup of brewed coffee. Our stop? Puzzle’s Café.

Puzzle’s Café is a quaint resto located along Malabanias Road in Angeles City. It has only about six tables ably served by two personnel. The food is good, prices are affordable, and the coffee is for the win.

He had the Aussie breakfast of sausage, over-easy eggs, baked beans, bacon, potatoes and toast. I had the Grand Slam – two pancakes, two sausage patties, over-hard eggs and potatoes.

We melted into breakfast heaven, with unlimited coffee refills for good measure.

We left Puzzle’s Café with happy tummies and renewed spirits.

Puzzle’s Café. It was worth braving the rains for. Prices were not high, and the food, ambiance and the service were enough to lift our rained-on spirits up. –Photos by Arlyn Lukban
