RDC 3 organizes Advisory Committee

QUEZON CITY – The Regional Development Council 3 organized on Tuesday, 14 March 2017, the Advisory Committee for Regional Development during the meeting of the Central Luzon Bloc (CLB) of the House of Representatives.

The CLB has 21 members representing 21 districts from the seven provinces of Central Luzon.

The creation of the committee comes from the heels of the successful collaboration among the CLB, their respective chiefs of staff and key regional line agencies under the ambit of the RDC and through the coordination of NRO 3. It is expected to set a new platform for policy advice, regional development initiatives and legislative agenda.

In addressing the members of the advisory committee during its first meeting held at Batasan Complex, RDC 3 Chairman and Angeles City Mayor, Hon. Edgardo Pamintuan, said the region welcomes the occasion as a positive development as “we aim to make major strides towards socio-economic development.” “The RDC will put highest considerations to the impartial advices of this group and will place value on each member’s experience, expertise and network”, said Pamintuan.
