Palo, even before her stint as a model, likes makeup, nail polish, and getting her hair done. She also loves making people around her beautiful which motivated her to open Ledeecia.
The salon and skin care studio is her first venture into the beauty line of business, running it as a sole proprietorship. Maica’s determination to enter the industry was to offer something unique to her kabalens , her long-time dream.
“I really wanted to open a one-of-a-kind salon which offers everything our customers need, from hair to skin care. We want to offer convenience by providing all of their needs in one place,” she said.
But guys don’t worry about Ledeecia’s elegant and upscale concept because the price range for its high-class services is actually competitive and the services are excellent.
“At first, our customers thought our services are pricey because the place looks expensive. But once you look at our rates, you can see that it’s actually affordable,” she emphasized.

Future plans
With her salon and skin care’s unique concept, few customers have gone to Palo subtly telling her they want to do business with her, either by branching out or franchising. But she’s still hesitant to take that step.
“I want to polish everything first, and make sure that I master the ins and outs of the business in one year time. After that, maybe I’ll consider the offer,” she stressed.
According to her, she will soon open another branch in Taguig which will focus more on nail services.
“It will open next month, it is called Ledeecia Nail Lounge and will be located at the The Fort,” she revealed.
Palo added that she has also set her sights in opening another beauty line in the province.
“Hopefully, I can be able to open a full-scale Ledeecia branch in SM Pampanga this year,” she said optimistically.
