Security Bank to host online forum on COVID-19’s economic impact

Security Bank, one of the leading universal banks in the country, will be hosting on  August 6 its first online economic forum for this year with the impact of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the country’s economy as the focal point.

Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Carlos Dominguez will be keynoting the digital seminar that will also examine economic recovery plans of the government and economic outlook for the remainder of the year.

In a statement, Security Bank said that it will continue to provide valuable information and expert insights to help people make informed decisions as the restarted economy of the country is still reeling from the ramifications of the infectious virus.

Financial journalist Cathy Yang will be facilitating a Q&A session after the presentation of Sec. Domiguez.

The by-invitation-only forum will start from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. via GotoWebinar platform.
