The merriest season of all is just a few days away, and the traditional launching and lighting of Christmas centerpiece in all SM Malls is the most anticipated event.
On Thursday, October 28, SM City Olongapo Central opened its multifunction Christmas Display with pop-up bicycle carts and yuletide fine gazebos where mallgoers can enjoy some sweet treats and dine while taking a selfie in this instagrammable Christmas display. The grand launching and ceremonial lighting was held at the mall’s event area, with SM Regional Operations Manager for North Luzon 3 Engr. Bong Garcia, Asst. Mall Manager Engr. Ariel Gyran Ferrer, Olongapo City Mayor Rolen “Len J” Paulino, Vice-Mayor Aquilino “Jong” Cortez and City Tourism head Fifi Legaspi.
On Friday, October 29, SM City Olongapo Downtown launched its candy cane inspired Christmas village where mallgoers can shop, dine and strike a pose with friends and family. SM City Olongapo Downtown Asst. Mall Manager Michelle Charlene Chua was joined by Olongapo City Mayor Rolen “Len J” Paulino, City Councilor Jamiel Khonghun Escalona and City Tourism head Fifi Legaspi.
SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown joined various SM Supermalls all over the country in the unveiling and lighting of their Christmas centerpiece.
The yearly lighting of SM’s Christmas centerpiece is a way of bringing mall goers together in the celebration of the Yuletide Season.
