Stranded CRK passengers to get refund, free rides

In view of the recent temporary closure at the Clark International Airport caused by the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that affected flights and passengers, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has directed all airlines thru the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) to provide FREE Transportation Service to displaced passengers.

On Monday evening (April 22) up to April 23 (Tuesday), Genesis buses provided passengers transportation services from Clark International Airport to NAIA.  For those affected passengers who paid their bus fares on the said dates, you may ask for a refund, subject for validation.

For refunds to be made, each passenger may kindly provide the following:

1.            Proof of Airline Ticket, Bus Ticket and Flight Information Details.

2.            One (1) valid government-issued ID (example: Passport, Driver’s license, Voter’s ID, SSS, GSIS, PhilHealth Card, etc).

Once these documents are complete, you may ask for a refund at any of the following places for your convenience:

1.            Clark International Airport – Passenger Assistance Desk (PAD)

2.            Genesis Bus Terminals in Tarlac (09190722902); Baguio (09190722912); Cubao (09190722910); Pasay (09190722905); and Avenida (09190722928)

Refunds may also be made thru bank deposits.  Passengers may kindly email scanned copies of the said requirements to [email protected]  along with your name, the name of the bank and savings account number.

After verification, CIAC will deposit refund amount to the passenger’s bank account.
