Subic EnerZone, BPSU sign MOA, MOU for College Scholarship Program

Dinalupihan, Bataan – AboitizPower- Distribution, and Subic EnerZone Corporation are proud to announce a partnership with Bataan Peninsula State University ( BPSU) through the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of agreement (MOA) to establish a transformative scholarship program aimed to empower dreams and build the future leaders in Bataan Region.

Present during the ceremonial signing were AboitizPower- Distribution led by Engr. Dante Pollescas; President and COO of the EnerZone Group, and Belen B. Catanduanes, SAVP for Human Resources.

Representing Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), led by Dr. Ruby B. Santos- Matibag, President, Christina Anne Dimarucut- Ama, Director for the Office of Student Affairs & Services, Ms. Rioza D. Jose, Head of the Scholarship & Financial Assistance.

Meanwhile, Anton Mari Perdices, AboitizPower Distribution Group SVP &COO also joined the program virtually and talks about the project and partnership with the BPSU.

Other attendees from EnerZone were Engr. Ryan Griva, EnerZones’ AVP for Engineering, Mr. Mars Escobar, HR Manager and representative from other departments.

The partnership and collaboration marks a significant milestone in fostering educational opportunities for talented students in the community. Through this initiative, deserving students will have access to quality education, financial support and mentorship opportunities to pursue their academic aspirations This will also make a positive impact on the transformative journey for both industry and academe.

The Bataan Peninsula State University is a conglomeration of fine leading higher education institutions in Bataan seeking to contribute to the national and regional development through providing excellent quality of services in instruction, research, production and extension.

Among the students who graduated in this school and are now employees and future leaders of Subic EnerZone were Engr. Aira Mae Gabriel and Engr. Jonas Macalinao.
