Subic Enerzone gives cash aid to 25 Olongapo students

Some 25 students from various schools in Olongapo City were given financial aid by the Subic Enerzone company yesterday, November 14.

According to Subic Enerzone EVP and General Manager Warell Kern Sario, the beneficiaries of the project are selected Grade 11 and Grade 12 students who all have good scholastic records.

Selected students from public schools received P7,500 each, while those from private schools were given P14,000 each.

“If you have students who excel academically, please contact our CSR contact person Jeff Figuerrez. There are plans to extend CSR to college students, hopefully we can see the light at the end of the tunnel with the plan,” Sario said.

Other projects such as the Special Science Elementary School scholarship are also part of Subic Enerzone’s corporate social responsibility (CSR).
