Taldawa offers a variety of dishes such as Caldereta,Sinigang, and Adobo but with a twist. Instead of the usual beef or pork meat, they use exotic dishes like goat meat and duck.
Taldawa is another term for bukid or marangle. According to Aling Norma Garcia, owner of Taldawa, it was named as such because the ambiance is similar to a farm’s, where it is very refreshing, relaxing and a new experience waving back to time, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Taldawa is truly a Kapampangan pride. Not only was it recognized here in Pampanga, but internationally as well. Taldawa was one of the two food stalls, together with Chef Sau Del Rosario’s Café Fleur, which represented the province of Pampanga in the World Street Food Congress 2017. The said event was attended by the late popular American chef and TV host, Anthony Bourdain.
