TARLAC CITY — Tarlac Drug Recovery Clinic Program Head Cheryl Sembrano assured concrete flagship programs and services as the European Union recognized the facility as a “Model Drug Recovery Clinic.”
“As part of our responsive action to the continuous drug menace in the country, we will continue concretizing our flagship ‘Progress not Perfection! byhelping illegal drugs victims with appropriate rehabilitation treatment resulting to gradual improvement,” she said.
The creation of this facility is a response of the Provincial Government to the anti-illegal drugs campaign of President Duterte that primarily aims to transform the country within the context of organization, development and sustainability.
“Through these facilities, we are protecting potential and productive human lives and healing human minds. We are also giving those who have fallen victims to substance abuse a chance to change,” Sembrano stressed.
She added that implementation of these programs and services will lead them back to a better life and to their families, carrying renewed self-actualization as they complete the needed program and treatment.
The said facility seeks to provide evidence-based treatment methods to assist individuals in their recovery from drug dependence and to facilitate their reintegration to the society.
Designed to offer a community-based complementary treatment pathway to the compulsory residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Rehabilitation Centers, the Drug Recovery Facility is committed to be the premiere clinical treatment and clinical training center for Central Luzon.
