Tarlac Police on alert for Labor Day

TARLAC CITY — Tarlac Police Provincial Office (PPO) is on alert this Labor Day to prevent assemblage or rallies which disregard the guidelines being implemented under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

“Only Authorized Persons Outside of Residence will be allowed to go outside based on the guidelines given by the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases,” Police Provincial Director PCol. David Poklay said.

Since the beginning of ECQ last March 17, the police recorded a total of 615 violators who were arrested and whose cases were already filed in court for having committed prohibited acts.

In connection to this, Tarlac PPO also prepared a Relief Operation to be conducted today.

The activity, entitled “Pagpupugay sa mga Manggagawa Ngayong Mayo Uno”, aims to aid labor workers who were affected by the ECQ. It will be done in partnership with Joint Industrial Peace Concerns Office members in Tarlac,

“We thank all our sponsors and benefactors for the relentless support as we work together for the common good and well-being of our constituents during this health emergency crisis,” Poklay added.
