Taxpayers’ comfort assured at Lubao municipal hall

The local government unit here has upgraded its services to make taxpayers comfortable in transacting businesses at the municipal hall.

With the directive from Mayor Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, the municipal administration has set up a system that will make business application and payments a breeze for stakeholders.

A business one-stop-shop is in full and effective operation to afford taxpayers an easy and efficient procedure in securing municipal government permits.

Friendly information desks are situated near the entrances as frontline assistance to those who are seeking their ways to the offices they intend to do business with.

Digital numbering and public address systems are also installed to avoid confusion among the guests who are coming in droves as the new year begins.

Priority lanes for persons with disability, senior citizens and pregnant women are available while additional windows are opened to accommodate more transactions at any given time.

Noon breaks among employees at the frontline are scheduled to ensure the continuous flow of transaction from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Coffee and water dispensers are also situated at the lounge for the free use of visitors and transacting public.

“We consider our taxpayers as partners in building a better Lubao. Without their support, we will not have a government that is responsive to the needs of the communities,” Mayor Pineda-Cayabyab said.

The mayor also reminded the taxpayers to be mindful of the schedules in the application and payment of permits to avoid paying penalties.

“As much as we do not want to impose additional burden to our taxpayers, we also need to set up mechanisms to discourage tardiness in payment of duties to the government,” the mayor added.

She explained that whatever fees collected by the LGU will go back to the people in forms of services that will uplift the living condition of Lubeñans.
