Two American golf champions — Rory McLlroy and Dustin Johnson — will play at the Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club on November 29 in an exhibition match for charity.
McLlroy and Johnson will play in the 18-hole match in the world-class Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club in Lubao, Pampanga.
It will be the first visit of both American golfers to the Philippines.
Originally from Holywood, Northern Ireland, McLlroy turned pro back in 2007. He has two PGA tour wins back in 2015 and another two in 2016.
A South Carolina native, Johnson is one of the tallest golfers in the US at 6 foot 4 inches. He also turned pro in 2007 racking up one PGA tour win in 2015 and three wins back in 2016.
Filipino golf fans will be able to watch the exhibition match for charity at the brand new Pradera Verde Golf & Country Club.
The match will be kicked off by a gala dinner and a charity auction. –Jonard Aquino
