2 Bulacan drug dealers yield P2.5M shabu

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Some P2.5 million worth of shabu weighing 500 grams had been confiscated from two alleged big time drug dealers here during a buy bust operation in Bgy. San Vicente, Sta. Maria town over the weekend.

Bulacan police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., identified the arrested suspects as Christopher Dave Colangcoy alias “Dave”, 31, married, resident of Bgy. San Vicente, Sta. Maria, Bulacan and Janel Roldan alias “Janel”, 20, single, resident of Bgy. Sapang Palay, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

Caramat said that anti-narcotics operatives of the Sta. Maria Police Station headed by Supt. Raniel Valones conducted a buy bust operation against Colangcoy and Roldan. The poseur buyer was able to buy shabu from the two. The poseur buyer and other police operatives then pounced on the suspected drug pushers.

Caramat said police recovered one big plastic bag and three sachets of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 500 grams; the P2.5 million marked money; one piece caliber .22 revolver loaded with two live ammunitions; one improvised glass tooter; one stainless scissor; one digital weighing scale; and one bundle transparent plastic sachets.
The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for Violation of RA 9165 Section 5, 11, 12 and 26 and Violation of RA 10591 will be filed against the two suspects. —EMIL G. GAMOS
