300 Mabalaquenos get free medical assistance

At least 300 residents of Northville 16 in Barangay Atlu Bola were provided medical, dental and optical assistance through the initiative of the Mabalacat City College Campus Youth Ministry (MCCCYM).

The medical mission was conducted in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Mabalacat District 3790, City Health Office and City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office recently at the Nicolas de Tolentino Chapel in the said Barangay Atlu Bola.

Mr Joel D. Pacia, head organizer, said the activity is aimed at introducing “Christ as the Divine healer,” honing Campus Youth Ministry members’ social and leadership skills. It also aims to promote and organize visiting programs of volunteers, youth ministers, and health professionals to expand evangelism and health awareness.

The youth organization believes that through spiritual healing and preventive care, a healthy community can enable itself to withstand the challenges of times.

Campus Youth Ministry, established in 2012, is a legitimate campus organization founded by Raymond John Vergara and Jason Manalang. It is envisioned to respond to spiritual, communal, apostolate and liturgical needs of the student body.
