9 victims rescued from sex trade in Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS — Nine victims of human trafficking, mostly minors, allegedly engaged in illegal sex trade were rescued while two suspects were arrested in an entrapment in Angeles City on Tuesday.

PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon  said members of Angeles City police conducted the operation in front of 7/11 (Crossing) in Bgy. Pampang, Angeles City which resulted in the arrest of Kathlen Camus Mayam and her live-in partner John Karlo Victoria Guiao, both of Purok 4 in Bgy. Pampang and the rescue of nine victims, six of them minors.

The two suspects will be charged with violation of RA 10364 and RA 7610 or the anti-human trafficking law.
