CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – By employing time-tested tactics in catching wanted criminals, warrants officers of different police units in this province has captured 81 wanted fugitives in a series of operations on All Saints Day and All Souls Day.
Bulacan police directors said that the operations were conducted as part of the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) as ordered by Central Luzon Luzon regional police director Chief Supt. Amador Corpus.
“They have virtually been netted into a spider’s web. It has been tested time after time that even wanted criminals will go back to their hometown to pay respect to their departed loved ones and this time our police officers were able to served warrants of arrests and captured the fugitives wanted by the courts for their pending cases,” Caramat said.
He said that the operations were conducted by different police units in the province including teams from the Provincial Intelligence Branch and the Provincial Public Safety Company of the Bulacan Police Perovincial Office.
Caramat said that at least 77 police operations were conducted in the towns of Balagtas, Bocaue, Baliwag, Bustos, Bulakan, Calumpit, Dona Remedios Trinidad,Guiguinto, Hagonoy, Marilao, Norzagaray, Obando, Pandi, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, San Miguel, San Rafael and Sta. Maria and in the cities of Malolos, Meycauayan and San Jose del Monte.
He arrested fugitives has pending cases for murder, rape, theft, robbery and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. —EMIL G. GAMOS
