HERMOSA, Bataan –
Hermosa police operatives this morning caught a rice retailer and his houseboy repacking sacks of National Food Authority or NFA rice into sacks with label “Sinandomeng”, to be sold later at their rice retail shop at the Hermosa Public Market.
They were caught during a raid at the house of the rice retailer in Hermosa, Bataan according to Hermosa Police chief, Police Senior Inspector Phoe Pangan.
The businesswoman (name witheld by PNP) was a subject of a month-long surveillance of the authorities which yielded positive results.
A case of violation of Republic Act 7581 or “The Price Act” is being prepared against the said rice trader.
Hermosa Municipal Mayor Jopet Inton lauded the Hermosa police force for a “job well done.”
