Suspect of Filchoice break-in surrenders to Mayor Lazatin

ANGELES CITY – THE alleged suspect in the robbery break-in at Filchoice Meat Products voluntarily surrendered to the office of Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr.

The alleged suspect was identified as JR (not his true name), 14, resides at brgy. Cutcut here.

JR, with his mother, was accompanied by Police Major Rolando Doroja of Police Station-5.

Moreover, Doroja said that they have received the incident report last Aug. 19 at 10 in the morning, with the CCTV footage. The crime transpired at 2:40 am of Aug. 18.

Mayor Lazatin also requested the help of the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) to conduct a random drug-test to the alleged suspect.

He then tapped the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) since the involved suspect is still a minor.

In addition, the Mayor said to JR’s mother that regardless of his son’s age, he has to pay for what he committed when proven guilty.

“We must comply with the formal procedure,” he added.

Mayor Lazatin also mentioned that he will not tolerate any wrongdoings in the City.

Further investigation is now on-going.
