ANGELES CITY – Twelve business establishments here are facing closure due to lack of business permits.
An inter-office saturation inspection identified the establishments as Hang Over grill, Jinja Korean Resto, Injano Resto bar, Barrel House, Double Chill, Cold Zero Resto bar, Thai Royal Spa, Club Co., Soulmate Resto bar, Tabazko grill, Magic Andreas House food stall, and Clasika grill.
Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. has tasked Business Permit and Licensing Division (BPLD), City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), City Health Office (CHO) and City Information Office (CIO) to inspect Diamond Service Road at Diamond Subd., and Arayat St. in Barangay Balibago, since the area is considered to be part of the city’s entertainment district.
Some establishments received their first and final notices including Buono Store, and Khayzer Salon, while those that need to update their business name and type is Spa Cares Light Comfort to Arcadia Spa.
Meanwhile, in an interview, the Mayor said his administration will continue to monitor all existing and new establishments in the city.
He then reminded that the City Government will fast track the issuance of business permits.
It can be recalled that he wants to enhance the BPLD system to push for a one-day issuance of business permits, in contrast to the request of the Sangguniang Panglungsod, directing the BPLD to process permits in three days.
