Woman fugitive fall in police manhunt operations

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A 47-year old woman accused of carnapping by a local court and another fugitive were arrested during a manhunt operations launched by the police in separate places in Pampanga over the weekend.

Dolores Dizon Sangil, of Barangay Diladila, Sta. Rita, Pampanga, and Fredrich Villaluna, 32, of Bgy. Moras de la Paz, occupied the second spot and no. 7 in the police list of most wanted persons of Macabebe and Sto Tomas towns respectively.

Sangil was arrested on the strength of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maria Concepcion Yumang, of Guagua Regional Trial Court, said Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, director of Pampanga Provincial police Office (PPO).

The court granted P300,000 bail bond for Sangil’s temporary release from detention, said Fajardo.

Fajardo said Villaluna has standing qualified theft case before City of San Fernando RTC under the sala of Judge Esperanza Paglinawan-Rosario.

The fugitives arrest, Fajardo said was a result of intensified campaign against wanted persons in Pampanga dubbed as “Oplan Manhunt Charlie”.

Meanwhile, Fajardo directed all police units in Pampanga to exert more efforts in their campaign against wanted persons and persons with standing warrant of arrest  and bring them to justice.

“Justice must be served without delay,” said Fajardo is also a certified lawyer.
