In celebration of the Senate Centennial, the Senate of the Philippines Golfers Association, in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Manila Bay, organized the Centennial Senate President Koko Pimentel Golf Cup on Saturday, November 19, at the Nick Faldo and Greg Norman Courses of the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in General Trias City, Cavite.
The tournament was presented by the San Miguel Corporation and the Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc.
271 players participated in the tournament, including representatives of national government agencies, members of the diplomatic corps, local government executives, Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club members, presentors, hole sponsors, SPGA members, and Rotarian golfers.
Reagan Fernandez was the overall champion for the Greg Norman course, while Mario Padil was the overall champion for the Nick Faldo course.
All proceeds of the sporting event will be donated to the Pacemaker Bank Project of Rotary Club of Manila Bay.
Atty. Elbert Cruz, Senate Director, was the overall chair of the tournament.
