Joint elements of Pampanga 1st PMFC, Masantol MPS and PIU Pampanga were conducting a checkpoint operation in Bgy. Bebe Anac, Masantol, Pampanga where they accosted a rider for not wearing his helmet.
While asking for pertinent documents, authorities saw in plain view a .38 revolver tucked in the rider’s waist, which resulted to his immediate arrest.
The man was identified as Cesario Cabreza, of San Pedro Cutud, CSFP and tagged as a high value target.
Confiscated from his possession were one .38 revolver loaded with four live ammo, the motorcycle, P520 cash and a knot-tied plastic sachet containing shabu weighing approximately 55 grams valued at P374,000.
“We have been continuously beefing up our aggressive drive to recover and to seize loose firearms. May this serve as a stern warning to all especially those who have not yet renewed their licenses or turned over their undocumented firearms in their nearest police stations for safekeeping. Stricter penalties are imposed against violators,” said PRO3 Director Bgen Jose Hidalgo.
