Two minor children are now under the custody of the Tarlac police for allegedly killing their own mother in Bgy. Maliwalo, Tarlac City.
The Tarlac City police identified the victim as alias “Esperanza,” 53, store vendor, of Bgy. Maliwalo, Tarlac City while the suspects were her children alias “Abudi,” 16, and alias “Omar,” 11.
The Tarlac City police said the brother of the victim on Monday was told by his nephew “Abudi” that he found his mother’s lifeless body lying at her bedroom.
Initial police investigation revealed that prior to discovery of Esperanza’s dead body, she and her sons had an argument.
The victim allegedly told the suspects to move out of their house and to stay in a boarding house.
The police recovered in the crime scene a rock wrapped in a black shirt owned by “Abudi” and believed to be the instrument used in the killing.
The key to the door of the victim’s room was found in the possession of the suspects.
“Abudi” also had scratches and abrasions in the chest and at the back of his head.
The two minors were arrested and police are now coordination with the City and Social Welfare Development for the filing of criminal cases against the two suspects.
