AirAsia Philippines is poised for a strong ASEAN rebound this Q3 2022 with the resumption of flights to Bangkok, Thailand; and Bali, Indonesia on July 17 – both key markets for the brand internationally.
The world’s best low-cost airline is set to return to the “City of Smiles” via the Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand 2x weekly every Wednesday and Sunday beginning July 17.
Meanwhile, AirAsia Philippines is also set to return to Bali, Indonesia starting on July 17 with its 2x weekly flights (every Friday and Sunday), via Denpasar/Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Pre-pandemic data shows that a total of 139,296 AirAsia Philippines guests or a total of 92% passenger load factor flew to Bangkok, Thailand in 2019. 90% passenger load or equivalent to 110,694 tourists meanwhile flew to Bali, Indonesia during the same period.
AirAsia Z2 287 leaves Manila via NAIA Terminal 3 at 5:35 p.m. and arrives in Bangkok at 8:05 p.m. Its return flight Z2 288 leaves Bangkok at 8:35 p.m. and arrives at NAIA T3 at 1:05 a.m. the next day.
Meanwhile, AirAsia Z2 231 departs NAIA Terminal 3 at 9:15 p.m. and arrives in Bali at 11:15 p.m. Its return flight to Manila Z2 232 leaves Bali at 11:40 p.m. and arrives in Manila at 3:40 a.m. the following day.
Home to instagrammable white sand beaches, temples and other outdoor sceneries, Bangkok and Bali are among the most visited destinations of Filipino travelers. In 2019, almost 500,000 Filipinos visited Thailand while 260,980 Filipinos also visited Indonesia.
