All roads lead to Lubao, Pampanga for 5th balloon and music festival

LUBAO, Pampanga – All roads to lead to this town for the 5th Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival (LIMBF) set on March 23 to 25.

At least 30 hot air balloons, 25 of which are from other countries, will fly high from the Pradera Verde, here.

There are new special shaped balloons such the “Christ the Redeemer” from Brazil.

LIBMF Event Chairman Noel Castro said this year will be more exciting as there are new activities such as the off-road and rallycross. The other activities are aerial show, fireworks display, night glow, music festival, car show, ultralight and bazaar.

Top performers during the Music Festival are Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo. Geronimo will wow the crowd on March 24, while Bamboo will perform on March 25.

“ A wide variety of new surprises will also be offered aside from the usual favorite on ground and aerial activities to keep everyone entertained throughout the day. Continuing on with the massive success of last year’s first ever music fest with international acts, attendees can expect a follow up that is as fun and exhilirating, if not more,” the organizers said in a statement.

“An amazing lineup of musical acts awaits everyone at the #LubaoIBMF2018. From the morning flight all the way to the concert at night, the festival will be packed with entertainment that will surely make the event’s 5th year another memorable one. The Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2018 is organized by Lubao International Balloon Festival, Inc. (LIBF) together with Forthinker, Inc., in cooperation with the Arts, Culture and Tourism Office of Pampanga (ACTO) and with support from Provincial Government of Pampanga,” it added.
