Angeles City Science High School students bag top award in Hong Kong Science Tilt.

(CIAC) chief Alexander Cauguiran (right) with Angeles City Department of Education (DepEd) officials, teachers and parents welcome students of the Angeles City Science High School who won in the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition (HKSSPC) 2018 International Division held on March 9 and 10 at the Hong Kong Science Park, Shatin, Hong Kong upon their arrival at the Clark International Airport via Cebu Pacific on Monday. The research project entry, “Verde: An Edible Alternative to Plastic Cutlery”, which bested other science high schools in Asia was presented by the ACSHS team composed of (L-R) Shaira C. Gozun, Francine Icban, Neil David Cayanan, Lucia Dizon, Ana Sofia Diaz, and E’van Relle Tongol. The students were joined in Hong Kong by their teacher-coach Lolita Bautista, science education supervisor Gemima Estrabillo, and schools division superintendent Leilani Cunanan.
