The cast, crew and producers of the indie film “Area” that delves into the lives of prostituted women in the infamous location of the same name in Angeles City, Pampanga where mature sex workers offer services at a bargain. Lead star Allen Dizon led the cast with director Louie Ignacio and screenplay writer Robby Tantingco. Multi-awarded movie star AiAi delas Alas was absent but most of the cast were present during the event held at the Robinsons Mall Balibago, Angeles City. The movie, which also stars local media personality Cecile Yumul as well as Kapampangan poet laureates Eufrocinia Pena and Francisco Guinto, won the Special Jury Prize at the Eurasia International Film Festival in Kazakhstan.
