BAGAC, Bataan (PIA) — Bagac Mayor Rommel Del Rosario is asking the cooperation of his constituents to fight the spread coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country.
“We truly need cooperation, understanding and precaution so that this virus will not spread completely in our nation,” Del Rosario said in a statement.
The local chief executive requested for the patience of his constituents during relief distribution in the town and instructed them to observe social distancing at all times.
“We ask for your patience if food packs do not get to you right away. We beg you not to go to the barangay hall,” he stressed.
Del Rosario also appealed to well-off residents to give way in favor for those severely affected residents who need most of the relief packs.
Moreover, the mayor urged his constituents to follow rules being implemented during the Enhanced Community Quarantine period.
“The implementation of curfew is not to restrict our rights to go wherever we want. This is to ensure that we do not become carriers of the virus which could harm our loved ones,” he furthered.
