MALOLOS CITY — Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Gawad Dangal ng Lipi.
“The award honors exceptional sons and daughters of Bulacan who have excelled in the fields of Public Service, Professional, Community Service, Entrepreneurship, Education, Science and Technology, Arts and Culture, Trade and Industry, Health, Agriculture and Sports. We also honor Bulakenyo Expatriates,” PPDO Head Arlene Pascual said.
Tanging Bulakenyo will likewise be bestowed which is the highest award given to a nominee who excels in any of the award categories and with an outstanding contribution to the society.
“All nominees must be born in Bulacan, a resident of the province for at least five years, and parents are Bulakenyos or at least a resident for not less than five years,” Pascual explained.
If the nominee is a spouse of a Bulakenyo or does not have a Bulakenyo blood, he/she must be a resident for at least 10 years with a great contribution for the betterment of the province.
