Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago led the awarding of certificates to 15 calesa drivers in the City of San Fernando who completed their 24-hour ‘Basic Tour Guiding Seminar’ held August 23-25.
Organized by the City Tourism Office in partnership with the Department of Tourism Region 3, the activity seeks to develop local ‘kutseros’ into tour guides to boost the tourism industry.
The newly certified tour guide/ drivers are Orlando Manalo, Sherland Balatbat, Rolan Santos, Ricky Antonio, Jose Balatbat Jr., Arnold Manalo, Mervin Manalo, Edgar Mercado, Fernando Ocampo, Arnold Pabalan, Fernando Manalang, Romeo Sicat, Marvin Magtoto, Russel Luzung and Rodrigo Guevarra.
