CIAC to conduct road show in Baguio City

The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) will be conducting on Jan. 20 the first of a series of the Clark International Airport North Philippines Roadshow 2017 in Baguio City as part of its marketing campaign to lure more passengers at the Clark International Airport (CRK) in Pampanga.

CIAC President and CEO Alexander S. Cauguiran will lead a team from the CRK Airport Operations, Marketing Department, and Corporate Communications, as well as from the airlines such as Philippine Airlines (PAL), Asiana Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates Airlines and Cathay Dragon to showcase the various developments, facilities and flight services available at the Clark Airport after President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive to develop the “Airport of the North” as part of the government’s program to decongest Metro Manila, particularly the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Cauguiran said that “this is part of the program of CIAC to further promote the patronage of CRK in its catchment areas in Central and Northern Luzon, especially among overseas workers.”

“We need to inform our people particularly in Northern and Central Luzon that Clark Airport is the more convenient and accessible point where they can travel, specially with its ongoing improvements on its facilities and services and increasing number of flights and carriers after the Duterte administration announced that Clark Airport will be developed as the next premier gateway to and from the Philippines,” Cauguiran said.

The CRK North Philippines Roadshow will start in Baguio City, the summer capital of the country, where development updates at the CRK will be presented to various groups and sectors. The event will be held at the Newtown Plaza Hotel Ballroom in Baguio City.
