It was all festive at Clark Marriott Hotel last Saturday as the first and only internationally branded 5-star hotel in North of Manila ushered in the ‘Year of the Rat.’
Wushu performances opened the festivity followed by the much-awaited prosperity dance of the lion and dragon dancers that went around the hotel from lobby all the way to Smoki Moto located at its topmost level. Hopeful that this observance of a longstanding Chinese tradition will bring about luck and good fortune – the hotel has been holding this annually which started in 2019.
Guests and Clark Marriott associates alike joined the celebration and customarily fed the lions their donations in ang paos. Celebrity guests and real-life couple, Benjamin Alves and Chelsea Robato, were spotted having a great time as well.
The hotel lobby is adorned with a golden money tree with Chinese Zodiac readings which will be displayed until January 31st.
