CSC confers Seal of Excellence Award to four CL water districts

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE — A total of four water districts in Central Luzon were recently conferred with the Citizen’s Satisfaction Center Seal of Excellence Award by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for their outstanding frontline services.

CSC Regional Director Nelson Sarmiento said the conferment aims to motivate or inspire government employees and agencies to improve the quality of their performance and instill deeper involvement in bringing their services to the public.

“This is an award given to government offices that have demonstrated exemplary frontline service to the public. Awardees are conferred with a wall-mountable glass seal bearing the Seal of Excellence logo that symbolizes the achievement of excellence,” Sarmiento furthered.

This year’s Four Star Awardees who were conferred with glass seal plus a check amounting to Php 25,000 include the Sta. Rosa Water District in Nueva Ecija; Concepcion Water District in Tarlac; and the Peñaranda Water District in Nueva Ecija.

Meanwhile, garnering the highest distinction, which is the Five Star Seal of Excellence Award, is the Plaridel Water District in Bulacan. Said office received a wall-mountable glass seal and Php100,000 worth of check from CSC.

The awarding is an annual undertaking of the Commission to recognizes government officials and employees who have displayed outstanding work performance.

Towards the end of the awarding, Sarmiento urgedthe other government agencies and employees present to draw inspiration from these awardees and continuously cultivate public service with a heart to deliver quality and efficient services. (CLJD/MJLS-PIA 3)Marie Joy L. Simpao
