Day Care students’ parents to receive grocery packages

ANGELES CITY — All parents of enrolled day care students will receive grocery packages from the city government.

This was shared by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr.’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas during their recent meeting.

“Ipinaguutos po ni Mayor Lazatin na bukod sa ipapamigay na furniture at school supplies, bibigyan din po yung mga magulang ng food assistance,” Calaguas said. 

Inside the grocery packages are five kilos of rice and canned goods. 

The distribution of the food packages will be held along with the school supplies and wooden furniture. 

“Para po ito sa mga magulang natin na all around sa kanilang mga anak,” Calaguas said. 

Calaguas furthered that the administration of Mayor Lazatin will remain true to its promise of providing free and quality education to the Day Care centers.

Also present during the meeting are Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, City Social Welfare and Development Officer (CSWDO) Edna Duaso, CSWDO Admin Head Chrysalene Cunanan, City Nutrition Officer Jermaine Jam Aguila, Gender and Development Officer Mina Cabiles, City Engineer Donato Dizon, General Services Office Head Evangeline Malonzo, and Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office Head Irish Bonus-Llego.
