The Department of Education has released an amendment to Deped Order No. 25, S/ 2018 moving the start of Christmas break from December 22, 2018 to December 15, 2018.
The order released on November 28 through Secretary Leonor Briones, said the Deped values the importance of spending quality time with the family, and Christmas season provides students to strengthen emotional bonds with their family.
But, Deped reminded December 15 will remain as a class day for student activities.
Classes will resume on January 2, 2019.
