President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to grace the assembly of drug watch volunteers in Pampanga tomorrow (December 22) in Clark Freeport Zone.
The assembly called, “Convergence of Nanay Volunteers as Community Drug Watch,” was organized by Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay Baby” Pineda in support of Duterte’s flagship campaign of eliminating drug distribution and usage in the country.
Duterte is expected to be introduced by former President-turned-Pampanga Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo before delivering a speech.
About 15,000 local officials from the provincial, municipal and barangay levels are expected to attend the assembly.
During the event, there will be an overview lecture on the establishment of PPO Reformation Program for Drug Surrenderers (Bahay Pagbabago) and community drug watch and the Department of Health’s referral system for community surrenderers.
