Ecstasy pusher busted in Cubao Hotel

A suspected pusher of ecstasy, a party drug, was arrested by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during an entrapment operation in a hotel in Cubao, Quezon City.

PDEA Director General Aaron N Aquino identified the suspect as Taisir Nardo, alias TJ Howard, a high-value targeted drug personality.

On November 1, 2017 at around 5:45 in the evening, agents of PDEA Special Enforcement Service (PDEA-SES) under Director Levi Ortiz conducted a buy-bust operation in Room ZEN 2, 4th floor of I-Suites Hotel, located along Imperial Street, Cubao, Quezon City that led to Nardo’s arrest.

Confiscated from the suspect‘s possession were seven plastic bottles of suspected liquid ecstasy, weighing more or less 500 ml, with an estimated street value of P100,000, and one suspected ecstasy tablet worth P2,500.

Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed in court against Nardo, who is presently under the custody of PDEA-SES.
